foodoracle: A Trip Through the European Culinary Landscape
New video series introduces foodies to exceptional restaurants and their chefs
Berlin, February 1st, 2016 — One of the best things about traveling is, of course, eating. It’s great fun to stop in at new and different restaurants around the world, but for most of us, it’s not so easy to get away for a trip all that often. So, for when you’re hungering for a new, interesting restaurant experience, but can’t really get up from the desk, foodoracle is here.
foodoracle is the new video series brought to you by foodora, the Berlin-based company specializing in food delivery from premium restaurants, and ellevant, a production company. Each week, we’ll bring you the story of an exceptional restaurant in a different city. The series kicks off in Milan at Sushi Yokohama, where Japanese and Italian culinary traditions come together to create innovative fusion dishes, such as zucchini tempura wrapped in raw salmon.
From there, we’ll travel to Hamburg, where we’ll dine at Saints & Sinners, the brainchild of chef Chrisch Rott. Rott and his team specialize equally in vegan dishes, such as quinoa salad, and in hulking meat classics, like double cheeseburgers with egg on top. Other destinations include Amsterdam, Stockholm, and even—with a brief transatlantic hop—Toronto.
In each city, we’ll profile an exceptional and delicious restaurant, and meet with the chef who makes the magic happen. So if you love great food and travel, come fly with us as we explore some of the best restaurants Europe has to offer. Next time you can get away for a trip, you’ll definitely know where to eat.
We will release a new episode each Monday morning for the next 10 weeks. To see the latest check here.
